Nicole Banshee is a Los Angeles-based rock musician who has released four full-length albums and two EPs. She’s renowned for her soaring vocals and darkly romantic lyrics, which draw on hard rock but also incorporate elements of metal and punk music. Nicole has collaborated with artists such as The Bangles, David Bowie, The Cure – plus she’s an experienced professional actress having worked in the entertainment industry for over 15 years.
She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MA in Counseling Psychology. After moving to Los Angeles in 2000 to pursue acting, she auditioned for a role on WOW (Women of Wrestling), becoming “Delta Lotta Pain”, part of Tag Team Caged Heat with Cher Ferrerya (“Loca”) and Nicole Ochoa (“Vendetta”). These four became WOW’s first Tag Team Champions and cemented themselves as iconic heels throughout women’s wrestling history.
Ryan Rice on drums, Salem Romo on bass and Joe Perez on guitar make up this experimental heavy rock trio. Though their sound can be described as “experimental heavy rock,” it’s difficult to define exactly what they do; their ever-shifting soundscape and energetic set keep audiences engaged – whether that means headbanging rock with haunting undertones or gritty, almost punkish abandon.
